Newsflash ........................

• Royal Cornwall Show - Come along and see us in the Cornwall Council Stand on the 4th, 5th and 6th June.  We love to see you and listen to any ideas you may have to help us all to get rid of the rubbish around the County!

• Well done and thank you to all who participated in Aprils 'Spring Challenge' - We had just over 150 events registered, but I know that there are a large number of people who carry out litter picking in their community continually, but do not feel that this counts as an event.  Be it 1 piece of litter or 1,000, the main aim is to keep Cornwall Clean and tidy! so well done one and all. 

• If you took part in an event in April, please send your groups contact address to info@cleancornwall.org as group certificates are now ready!

• The Gallery for April's events is currently 'work in progress' - if you had an event and would like to tell everyone about the fun you had or any 'quirky' bits of litter found, please contact info@cleancornwall.org.  We would love to see your pictures too! 

• If you would like to register your event for September's 'Spruce Up' (19th to 27th), contact info@cleancornwall.org - it's that easy!

• Just imagine if everyone picked up one piece of litter...... what a difference it would make!

• Clean Cornwall are recognised in the 3^rd annual Communication Awards, held internally by the Environment Agency, the lead public body for protecting and improving the environment in England and Wales - Well done to all involved! - See full details in the news and events page

CLEAN CORNWALL is a partnership group set up to reduce litter in Cornwall by:

• raising awareness of the problems caused by litter
• campaigning to change behaviour
• improving the way local councils and others manage litter
• supporting community efforts to reduce and collect litter
